The Koeneman Shack is located near Hazelhusrt, WI in beautiful northern WI. The "shack" as it is affectionately known, is a simple place for solace seekers, wayward souls, and a vast array of folks who have helped make the cabin a special place. Located on Lake Seventeen (a long abandoned logging camp) the cabin is a place to both share old memories and create new ones.

Years ago, whenever I went to use my fishing reel, someone
had messed it up, so I put a tag on it 'mom only'. A bit later, some rebellious youngster, (I wonder who?)
took it off and stuck it on the bow seat of the canoe, where it remained for years....
wonder if it is still there???
